The Vandenberg Hotel is one of the longest standing and continually licenced hotels in NSW. The ‘Van’ was built by the Vandenberg Family, who were Dutch immigrants in the late 1800s. Back then, our facility was known as The Courthouse Hotel and was often referred to as having ‘the most comfortable accommodation west of the mountains’. Sir Henry Parkes even addressed the town and his followers from the Vandenberg’s veranda.
Located in the picturesque town of Forbes, our hotel continues to offer a relaxed atmosphere for all your needs, whether you’d like to enjoy a drink with friends in our beer garden or snack on your favourite ‘pub grub’.
If you’d like to learn more about our separate menus and upcoming events, be sure to contact one of our knowledgeable representatives. We’d love to tell you more about The Vandenberg Hotel.
