Who has the best tennis serve in Forbes?
This question could well be answered this Sunday at a family tennis day and fundraiser for the Cancer Council Relay for Life.
The Relay for Life Family Tennis Day has been organised by Happy Feat, one of 70 teams to have now registered for the November 14-15 walk at South Circle.
To raise some money and morale ahead of the event, Happy Feat has challenged each team to enter at least two people in the tennis day, which starts at 11am on Sunday.
The action takes place at the Town Tennis Courts with games for all ages, activities for children and plenty of prizes.
A radar gun will also be in operation to find out who has the fastest serve in Forbes.
A barbecue lunch and drinks will be available and afternoon tea will also be supplied.
Entry is just $5 per person or $10 per family. Spectators are welcome. Bookings to Peter Clifton 6851 1993 or Jenelle Toole 6852 1262.
Meanwhile, people can still register for the Relay for Life, either by joining one of the 70 existing teams or forming their own.
The early bird registration of $11 has now expired but new participants can still register for just $15.
There are no more team meetings before the event but people who registered later than October 31 can pick up their shirt and information pack on the day.
