Mr Schubach previously worked as an African safari guide and uses his experiences to inspire and motivate others.

Forbes Business Chamber President, Debbie Prior, said although the evening was organised by the Forbes Business Chamber, all members of the public were invited to attend.

“I’m really excited. It’s fantastic Ian is coming to Forbes,” Mrs Prior said.

Mrs Prior said she has spoken to people who have heard Mr Schubach speak at conferences, and have spoken very highly of his sessions.

Corporate clients of Mr Schubach’s include American Express, McDonald’s and Westpac Bank.

Mr Schubach will be bringing his family with him and will spend time looking around Forbes and district.

Funds raised from the ticket sales will be donated to the Forbes District Hospital and to the Forbes Skate Park.

“This is a great opportunity to raise funds for the Forbes Hospital and have a great night of entertainment with friends,” Mrs Prior said.

The cost of the ticket covers a complimentary drink, finger food, entertainment by Austin and Eddie and Ian Schubach.

During the course of the evening, the Forbes Shire Council will also be making a presentation on the new Forbes Visitors Guide and tourism DVD.

Tickets are available for $50 each until 5pm on Friday, July 2, and can be purchased from Undercover Sleepwear and Lingerie or the Services Club.
