Twins airlifted

Twin babies were airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A spokesperson for Western NSW Local Health District confirmed a Forbes woman presented at Forbes District Hospital at 11pm on Tuesday, February 21.

The woman, who was pregnant with twins, went into labour which required the Newborn and Paediatric Emergency Transport Service for NSW (NETS).

The NETS team arrived in a helicopter and a fixed wing aircraft.
