A team of lady golfers from Forbes have won the Sevens Golf Champions League Nationwide Final, played last week.
The team of Wanna Wac Em, Kathy Collitts, Libby Godden, Pat Howarth, Beth Dickens, Jodie Caine, Jennifer Horan and Jayne Norrie had a combined total of 92 points to blitz a team of men golfers from Goonawarra Golf Club which is at Sunbury in Victoria. Their score, 80 points (note - Forbes former assistant professional golfer Ron Le-Brocque used to run the pro shop at Goonawarra).
The champers is sure to be on ice for Thursday night’s presentation which will be attended by Sevens organisers Bryan Trembath, along with Gopher, who will present Wanna Wac Em with their champions trophies.
