At the most recent Parkes meeting Majelons Star, driven by Robert Harris of Parkes, greeted the judge first at the juicy odds of $40.

Harris was satisfied to settle midfield before going three wide down the back to record a comfortable victory.

Harris has been a lucky omen for Forbes connections recently as he drove Destiny Awaits (Lyn Freeman) to victory at Parkes paying odds of $50.

Freeman is being credited with helping Majelons Star’s behaviour much to the delight of the ‘hamburger king’ Little.

Murray Sullivan Jr continues his good city form when saluting the judge at last Friday night’s historic Menangle meeting.

Sullivan, who also trains Thisaintyours, judged the pace well winning after being satisfied to race midfield for most of the journey.

At the Young meeting last Sunday, the best result for Forbes came with Eclipseoftheheart who finished second to Amazing Spirit (Michael Hardy).

The result signalled a return to form for the Jason Gaffney trained pacer and is worth following, possibly at Parkes on Sunday week.

Last night at Parkes local pacers went around included Modern Jazz (Ian Quirk), Panvoolas Mission and Richwood Kelsey (both Matthew Robb).

Also on the programme Braden Sullivan was having his first drive for new employer Tony Higgs aboard Chloe Shannon.
