Mrs Joan Dutch has been named by police from the Lachlan Area Command as the 84-year-old woman who was killed on Friday afternoon when her mobility scooter was hit by a Ford Laser.
Police have confirmed the Ford Laser was being driven by a 28-year-old male from Forbes at the time of the incident.
The incident occurred shortly before 5pm on Bedgerabong Road.
Police said Mrs Dutch sustained multiple injuries in the accident.
She was transferred by Forbes Paramedics to Forbes District Hospital in a critical condition, where she later died.
