She just happened to be house-sitting in Manly over Easter, a two-minute walk from the children’s hospice, and thought she would get some photos of the royals for the Jemalong Retirement Village newsletter.
”I strolled around, camera in hand, about an hour before Kate and William were due to arrive at the hospice hoping to get some photos for the JRV residents,” she said.
”The official cars pulled up directly in front of me.
“First the Prime Minister and new Premier and their wives followed closely by the royals.
Kate and William were so lovely and although they stayed inside the cottage longer than scheduled, still took the time to shake hands and speak to some of the people assembled when they came out, before heading down to Manly beach for their next engagement.”
