Under the teaching skills of Maryanne Harrison, students Ellen Bishop, Carina Pettit, Megan Coffee and Laura Harvey all completed the 12 week course that focused on developing communication skills, customer relations, product knowledge and time management in the retail sector.
Ms Harrison, who is based in Young, travelled across each Thursday to teach the course and said the students’ dedication to improving their knowledge was highly commendable.
“They have all worked really hard and given themselves more options in the workplace and their career path,” Ms Harrison said.
“Of the four students, three have come back to do their certificate III in retail.”
