The show ball committee met on Wednesday evening and finalised many of the details for the night.
The fourth show ball will be held in the Town Hall on August 30 from 7pm until midnight, with ‘an enchanted evening’ set as the event’s theme.
Eat Your Greens will provide a picnic style supper and guests are invited to BYO drinks.
Local band Risky Business will play on the night and Ms Earl said an exciting addition to the entertainment will be some progressive-style dancing.
“At the start of each set there will be a progressive dance,” Ms Earl said.
“On the back of everybody’s ticket will be an old fashioned style of dance which people can use to ask someone to dance.”
“There will also be a link to a YouTube clip which will show you the steps of your dance if you want to prepare before the night.”
“We hope it will add in a bit of a mix to the ball and suit people of all ages.”
On the night there will also be lucky door prizes as well as prizes for the best dressed lady and gentlemen.
Tickets are $65 and Ms Earl encouraged people to secure their tickets early on.
“This year the numbers are restricted so the only way to guarantee a ticket is to pay for it,” Ms Earl said.
Tickets are available from the Glass Menagerie from the start of August and need to be purchased by August 23.
