As part of the tour she will be heading to NSW, Queensland and Victoria with shows in Sydney, the Central Coast, Katoomba, Brisbane, Melbourne, Traralgon, Ballarat and Torquay.
The EP features three original songs; Red, Bodies and Shadow as well as a cover of Laura by Bat for Lashes.
Red was written solely by Celia, Bodies was co-written by Celia and Jake Stone of Bluejuice along with two professional female songwriters and Shadow was co-written by Celia, Tim Hart of Boy and Bear and Celia’s boyfriend Hugo Levingston.
“I have been very busy writing songs for the EP and now we are preparing for the release and the tour, which is very exciting,” Celia said.
The EP release date is set for Friday, August 15 and the tour starts on Wednesday, August 27.
Each performance will be one hour and Celia will also sing some of her other original songs as well as covers during the set.
Celia said the songs for the EP were recorded in April but it took time to mix and master them before being released.
“A lot goes into making sure they are perfect for the album,” Celia said.
This is Celia’s first tour as a solo artist so she is looking forward to it.
She now has more than 18,000 likes on her Facebook page and is hoping many of her followers will go along to her concerts and buy the EP.
“The songs I have written for the EP are about what I’ve been through so far in my life,” she said.
“The lyrics are all very honest, very real and are from the heart.
“I wanted to take people on a journey so they can relate to who I am as a person through the emotions I have felt from the experiences I have had with the people in my life.”
Tickets are now on sale for the tour by visiting the Celia Pavey Music Facebook page and following the links to each venue.
The closest concert to Forbes will be at Clarendon Guest House in Katoomba on Saturday, August 30.
