Returning officer, general manager Brian Steffen received two nominations for the office of mayor – current mayor, Cr Ron Penny and Cr Chris Roylance.
Councillors voted by a ballot system, with Cr Penny receiving five votes while Cr Roylance received four.
Two nominations were also received for the role of deputy mayor – one from current deputy, Cr Graeme Miller and another for Cr Michael Jelbart.
The voting was similar to the previous vote, with Cr Miller receiving five votes to Cr Jelbart’s four.
Both mayor and deputy look forward to serving Forbes for another term.
