In the lead up to the presentation dinner, Forbes Services Memorial Club have donated $500 to the NSW Small Winemakers Wine Show, which panel steward Mark Watts said will be put to good use.
“The committee want to thank the club for their generosity in giving this donation,” he said.
“Any profits we make we give to local charities.”
The Services Club have been sponsoring the NSW Small Winemakers Show for a number of years and vice president Val Taylor said it’s a great event to get behind.
“I think it’s good for the town,” she said.
The presentation dinner will be held at Forbes Services Memorial Club and will feature a five course meal with the trophy winning wines from the NSW Small Winemakers Wine Show.
The dinner is open to anyone to attend at a cost of $80.
“It’s good value when you add it all up,” Mr Watts said.
Tickets are available up until Wednesday, September 17 and can be purchased at BWR Accountants and Advisors in Templar Street or the cellar door at McFeeter’s Motor Museum.
The event starts at 7pm and dress is lounge suit attire.
Winemakers will be in attendance and people are free to talk to them about their wines on the night.
“It should be a good night,” Mr Watts said.
