Coach Cameron Greenhalgh said it would be terrific to see businesses deck their windows out in black and white to show their support for the juniors heading into the competition.
“It would be great if we could paint the town black and white,” he said.
If you decorate your window for the Magpies, phone the Advocate on 6852 1800 and we will come and take a photo.
We can publish the pictures in an online gallery for readers to vote on.
There is only a week until the grand final so act quickly to be part of it.
The Magpies will reward the winner with free sleeve sponsorship next season - sleeve sponsors are also promoted at the Magpies’ games.
The under 18s have this weekend off and will travel to Dubbo’s Caltex Oval next Sunday for the grand final.
They will face the winner of this weekend’s clash between Dubbo Macquarie and Dubbo CYMS.
“They are both strong sides,” Greenhalgh said.
“Whoever we play in the grand final it will be a tough game.”
The under 18s will field a relatively experienced side, with some 11 of their players backing up from 2013.
A number of the players also have representative and first grade experience.
There is a possibility of taking a supporters bus to Dubbo for the game but the club needs numbers as soon as possible to book.
