The weather was good and everyone enjoyed the day of bowls and lunch. Mary Everson and Heather Mann received their 80th badge and Jean Coffee and Glad Johnson received their 90th gold star.
Back home a small number of ladies turned out for bowls.
Winners were Marg Nelson and Alice Allen. Runners up were Ann Nixon, Hazel Girot and Colleen Dean.
Tomorrow Colleen Liebich versus Pat Hodson in consistency singles - marker Marlene Kopp.
Social bowls also names in by 9.15am. Also tomorrow Forbes plays Parkes at Forbes in the Cannon Merritt Trophy. Teams are G. Priest, P. Stevens, H. Prince, A. Tisdell, A.Walker, N. Huppatz, A. Mackay, N. Girot, A. Cutcliffe.
Forbes travel to Condobolin to play the Jones Shield on Thursday, September 18. Teams are R, Quinn, A. Tisdell, J. Waugh, A. Mackay, D. Rutherford, L. Simmonds, P. Hodson, K. Frail.
On Wednesday, September 24, Forbes plays Parkes at Forbes in the Jones Trophy. Teams are R. Quinn, J. Waugh, C. Skinner, L. Burton, L. Simmonds, K. Frail, A. Tisdell, A. Mackay, P. Hodson.
