The participants were welcomed at an official function at the Forbes Town Hall on Friday evening and on Saturday they displayed their pride and joy for residents and visitors to view at South Circle Oval.
On Sunday the owners had the choice to trek to either Parkes or Cowra before returning to Forbes for a formal dinner at the Forbes Inn.
Before heading home, the rally participants enjoyed a farewell breakfast yesterday morning at Lions Park.
NSW Rover Owner’s Club president Janet Legge said she was impressed with the welcoming the Forbes community gave to the group.
“It has been such an enjoyable time here in Forbes and we couldn’t be happier with the location,” Mrs Legge said.
“Everyone has been so helpful and it is such an easy location for all of the members to travel to.”
Mrs Legge said they had enjoyed the hospitality of Forbes and had utilised as many local venues as possible during their stay.
On Saturday locals had the chance to view all of the cars participating in the rally, which ranged in year model from 1930s to 2000s.
The National Rove is held every two years and the next one will be held in Perth.
