Representatives of Red Bend Junior Rugby League, Forbes Public School, Jemalong Retirement Village, Forbes Magpies, Forbes High School and Red Bend Catholic College are invited to form a guard of honour outside the Uniting Church following the service.
An Aboriginal smoking ceremony will be underway before and after the service.
Members of the above groups are also invited to form a guard of honour at the Forbes cemetery. Lou will be interred in the Presbyterian portion.
Red Bend Rugby League players are asked to wear their playing guernseys, with everyone else invited to don something purple - Lou’s favourite colour.
The family expressed their thanks to the Forbes and district community for its support during the benefit for Lou earlier this year.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Can Assist are welcome.
Lou is the beloved wife of Pecko and mother of Kiah, Jack and Jett, loved daughter of Julie Grimmett and the late Jack Grimmett, step daughter of the late Bill Spicer and fond sister of Jackie (dec’d) and Les.
