The All Stars are looking forward to a home grand final at the Botanical Gardens, kicking off at 2pm.
The team has only lost one game all season and qualified for the division one grand final after a win against Parkes Rawson Home Raptors a fortnight ago in the major semi-final.
The last time the team met the Tigers it was a three-all draw and they are hoping to put up a good fight in the grand final.
The Forbes All Stars won the B Division grand final last year and are very proud to have been this year’s minor premiers out of the 17 teams signed up with the Lachlan Amateur Soccer Association.
Grant Hodge says it’s going to be a very tough game.
“I know the Tigers are going to hit us hard, but we are ready for them,” he said.
“The boys have been pretty dedicated to training over the season and have worked very hard on their attack and defence over the last few months and it has paid off.
“Ashley Milford is a very skilful goalkeeper, he saved us in a penalty shootout in the major semi against Rawson Home Raptors two weeks ago and we know there will be a lot of pressure on him.”
Forbes hasn’t won a first grade grand final for several years and it’s time to win the title back for Forbes.
Hodge said that it's good for the town of Forbes and Forbes Soccer Association to have the honour of hosting the grand finals here and they are very proud to have made this possible by having a top season due to a top bunch of guys in their team.
“We invite and encourage our Forbes community to come on down to the Botanical Gardens and support us in our quest to defeat the Tichborne Tigers at 2pm tomorrow,” he said.
There are two other grand finals to be held on the day - Division 3 kicks off at 10am between Tuned Raptors and Coachman Cougars and at midday Division 2 kicks off between Grenfell Stingers and Cambridge Saints, so it's going to be a jam packed day of soccer.
