The Tigers put the first point on the board and the All Stars were able to hold them at 1-nil up to when the whistle blew for half time.
However early on in the second half a red card to the All Stars forced the team to carry on a player short.
Tichborne scored again and took the premiership 2-nil.
While the All Stars were disappointed with the loss, team spokeswoman Jeannette Hodge said they are staying positive.
“The boys are disappointed but are very proud to be minor premiers for the year,” she said.
“They are still positive and know they’ll be back next year.”
The grand final was only the second match the team had lost all season.
Mrs Hodge said a highlight of the day was when the All Stars’ Ashley Milford won player of the match for his efforts as goalkeeper.
The close grand final was held at the Forbes Botanical Gardens and many locals came to show their support.
