The association’s final registration day before play begins saw increased numbers in the under 12s, under 14s and under 17s this season.

There are two teams in each grade which will make – including Parkes teams – five teams in under 12s and under 14s and four teams in the under 17s.

The following teams are:

Under 12s Blue: Oliver Squire, Hugh Squire, Hugo Rodgers, Stuart Gordon, Ryan Sharpe, Isaac Sly, Clinton Hooper, Angus Duff, Joe Davies, Toby Mathieson, Hayden McCarthy, Luke McDean.

Under 12s Green: James Parsons, Lincoln Godden, Stephanie Beham, Henry Hodges, Andrew House, Noah Girot-Serplett, Tom Steele-Park, Jake Schaefer, Finn Miller, Talis Hurford, Rhys Glasson. 

Under 14s Blue: Corey McDean, Brodie Rossiter, Bryce Rossiter, Will Gordon, Callum Ward, Jade Page, Angus Brownley, Tom Hopkins, Jake McCarthy, Jed Matherson

Milo and under 10s start this Saturday at Botanical Gardens at 9am. Registrations can still be taken for these grades.

Anyone with shirts from last year might bring them this week. Shirts will be given out next week.

We will need the support of parents where they can either scoring or umpiring in the older kids. For the smaller kids this might be just helping on and off the field.

Don’t forget Chris McDean and some parents will run training at 4pm every Wednesday afternoon at Botanical Gardens.

He is very experienced and we are grateful to have him at Forbes this year.

This is for under 12s, 14s and 17s.

There is a $100 bounty to be given to the first team to beat Parkes this year – just some friendly encouragement. 

We are looking forward to a successful year. If we all help each other, cricket and the kids will be the winners.
