Eugowra collected the award for Tabcorp Carnival of Cups best level two meeting at the presentation night, held at Sofitel Hotel on Saturday, October 25.
While the club recently staged its 2014 meeting, the award actually recognised last year’s carnival, which featured a nine race program, including the $20,000 Lexus of Parramatta Canola Cup final, won by Holy Camp Clive.
Other major awards were presented to Steve Turnbull (leading trainer), Amanda Turnbull (leading driver) and Beautide (horse of the year).
Eugowra Harness Racing Club was represented at the awards dinner by president Lex Crosby, secretary Jodie Greenhalgh and committee member Colin Greenhalgh and their families. Full story on Saturday.
