It’s nearly Christmas and we’re counting down to celebrate, Farmers’ Market style.
Our November market is on Saturday, November 22 at the Ben Hall Shears Pavilion at the Showgrounds from 8-12pm and we have some new additions including fresh homemade lemonade and iced tea to cool down in the warm weather.
Some exciting things that we’re looking forward to soon are stone fruit and cherries and fresh herbs.
Leading up to the Christmas market on December 20, the Market Elves will be working hard to bring you a fun way to celebrate the end of the year with giveaways for the kids, a visit from Santa and some delicious Christmas goodies prepared especially for the adults.
We want to showcase the best of the region and celebrate the end of the year at the same time.
Don’t forget that the markets are undercover with plenty of carparking.
We’ll have all of your favourites at the markets including delicious meat, perfect for summer barbeque-ing, healthy vegetables, herb seedlings and tomato plants to start in the garden so you can have your own fresh summer salads.
We’re always looking for new stallholders! If you have something in mind, contact us and we can help you get ready with what you need to have a stall.
If you have surplus fruit or vegetables, perhaps you can partner with your neighbours and friends or family to have a stall together.
Don’t forget that all fresh produce, or value added products using local produce are welcome!
