The pre carols concert will start at 7pm and Carols By Candlelight concert will start promptly at 8pm.

House of Tribes will feature in the Pre Carols concert, after the performance by the Forbes Town Band who will open the pre carols concert at 7pm.

House of Tribes musicians are Paige and Jake Ellison, Greg Prow and Stewart McLean.

Special guests for the Carols By Candlelight concert are Maddi Collits and Chelsea Turner who are also gaining a very good reputation for their singing excellence.

Both girls are students at the Forbes High School, and have been very busy performing at functions in Forbes.

Santa will make a guest appearance for the night and will be interviewed by compere Shannon Crowley.

The very popular Combined Primary Schools choir will also feature in the concert, thanks to the staff of the three Forbes primary schools.

The Town Band will be selling glow candles on the night, and anyone who would like to hold a traditional candle should bring their own.

The Forbes Advocate will publish the program in next Saturday's edition, and the Forbes Town Hall has been booked incase of wet weather, with the same times for both concerts.

The Forbes Lions Club is helping the Town Band by providing the catering for the night, and the Town Band will be selling drinks and lollies, and a raffle to help with fundraising for the Town Band.

The Mitchell Conservatorium Lachlan is providing the insureance for the Town Band to present the concerts to the community in Victoria Park, and the Town Band musicians and Senior Singers are all very busy rehearsing for their performances on the night.

The night will conclude with a closing prayer by Pastor Nathan Battishall from the Generocity Church.

Carols By Candlelight in Forbes is presented by the Forbes Town and District Band and Mitchell Conservatorium Lachlan.
