The night will showcase the talent of the students in the creative arts with between 10 to 15 performances set to entertain the audience.
A selection of dance, drama and music students will be performing on the night, while displays of students’ artwork will be hung up to view.
Chelsea Turner, Paige Ellison and Maddison Collits are some of the students who will be performing solos at the concert.
Also making an appearance will be upcoming band ‘Unwanted Company’, featuring Jake Ellison, Jacob Beard and Quintin Hapgood, who will be playing original songs.
Students are very excited about meeting Celia Pavey, who will be a special guest on the night and will be available to sign autographs and pose for photographs before she performs a few of her hits.
Celia said she’s looking forward to attending the event before she performs at VANFEST the following day.
“It’s good to encourage the arts at school,” she said.
“It’s a gift so you may as well get up and share it - I just want to spread the word, don’t be afraid to do what you do.
“I support the arts all the way.”
Entry to the M.A.D.D. Night will be a gold coin donation with all proceeds going towards the Women’s Refuge.
The event will be held at the Forbes High School hall and starts at 6pm when people will get a chance to meet Celia and look at the artwork on display before the performances begin at 7pm.
