WINDOWS SMASHED: Window panes on a residence in Ferry Street were smashed on Thursday morning. The damage was done between 9 and 10am and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PURSE STOLEN: A car window was smashed and a lady’s purse stolen from a car parked in Renfree Street on Tuesday night. The break-in occurred between 9pm Tuesday and 8.50am Wednesday. Anyone with information can contact Forbes Police.
FAIL TO STOP: Police are appealing for witnesses to a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday night to come forward. The accident occurred about midnight and one vehicle left the scene without exchanging details. The police are asking the driver to contact them, or appealing for information from anyone who can identify the driver.

PHONE FOUND: A Huawei mobile phone was found in Conridge Street on Monday night. The owner can identify and collect it at Forbes Police Station.
