Kenesha Stevens and Brenton Howarth also deserve congratulations as the runners-up.
It was a tough competition with so many good-looking, well-dressed guys and girls from Forbes and surrounding areas who were sporting some great fashion styles at Bedgerabong on Saturday, February 14.
We received a total of 959 votes, which is significantly up on last year’s figures, so this year the competition was even fiercer.
Both winners only just took the lead spot on the last day, with our two runner-ups being comfortable leaders for most of the week of competition.
It was a race to the end to see who would take out the female title, with second place-getter Kenesha Stevens leading for the majority of the competition with 51 votes before Stacey Clarke pipped her at the post on the last day with a total of 56 votes.
Special mention should also go to the other place-getters with Melissa Gaffney third with 28 votes, Bec Sloane fourth with 24 votes and Jackie Wright came in at fifth with 19 votes.
Anthony Toohey took out the male title in an impressive feat at the last minute, racking up a total of 72 votes to push Brenton Howarth out of the top spot, which he’d held for the majority of the competition.
Brenton received 56 votes all up, while third place-getter Simon Porter had 23 votes, Jason Gaffney was fourth with 17 votes and Jarred Tyack and Ben Thomson tied in fifth place with 15 votes each.
As the female winner, Stacey will receive a $50 voucher for Little Extras plus a shampoo, cut and blow dry at Bron’s Hair Design, while runner-up Kenesha Stevens will get a $50 voucher for Ladybird Boutique.
Anthony has won a $100 voucher for Gunn’s Mensland as the male winner, while Brenton will receive a $50 voucher for Cahill’s Footwear as the runner-up.
We’d like to thank Gunn’s Mensland, Little Extras, Bron’s Hair Design,
Ladybird Boutique and Cahill’s Footwear for their kind sponsorship and a special thank you to Walker’s AGnVET for sponsoring our Hot 100 mega gallery.
A massive thank you to everyone who supported and voted in our competition and, of course, extra special thanks goes to the 100 brave people who entered the competition and made it so popular.
Without you there wouldn’t have been a Hot 100 competition!
Stay tuned for our next Hot 100.
