Whether it’s fresh fruit and vegetables from Neurea Valley Produce, meat from Pride of Oaks or tasty relishes from Deerfield Produce, there is guaranteed to be something there that will take your fancy.
Also returning this month will be Little Creek Events, serving up delicious bacon and egg rolls and buttermilk pancakes that proved a big hit at the last Forbes Farmers’ Market.
One of the market organisers, Melissa Ross, is pleased with the way the markets are evolving.
“It is great to have a few new stalls like Little Creek Events and new products like the locally roasted coffee beans from Cannibal Coffee,” Ms Ross said.
“We also can’t forget the great support we have had from the stall holders who have been with us since the markets started.”
Ms Ross also said that, with a change of seasons in the air, there will also be a change in the produce available locally.
“We will also see some changes in the seasonal produce as we move into winter,” she said.
“We have reached the end of the stone fruit season, but expect to see more vegetables that will be perfect as a side for hearty roasts or warming soups.”
The Forbes Farmers’ Markets are held at the Ben Hall Shears Pavilion at the Showgrounds from 8am to 12pm.
