Vice president of the Forbes Junior Rugby Club, Megan Rogers said the day was a great starter for the season.
“It was a really positive day,” she said.
“The coaching staff did a great job with the kids who were all different ages.
“We were aiming to start the season off with a celebration and I think the kids really enjoyed coming together.”
Mrs Rogers wished to thank all of the team sponsors of the junior rugby union as well as the sponsors on the day.
