This year there is $15,000 in prizemoney up for grabs for the strong field of 30 camels.
Locals are encouraged to look out for homegrown jockeys Stuart Brown and Jaye Davie who will return this year to the track.
As well as the races, attendees can enjoy a range of market stalls, musical entertainment, dancing, helicopter rides, sheep dog demonstrations, food, drinks and a vintage tractor display.
The gates open at 10am this Friday and all of the action is expected to continue until 6pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate and cost $10 per adult, $5 for aged pensioners and children under 16 can enter for free.
