The MJDS is a round robin singles competition played at many regional locations throughout the central west region.
At the end of the year, the top eight point scorers in each age division get to play off, with the top two from each age group in the central west going to the state finals.
We awoke to a beautiful sunny day for our tennis tournament.
Players aged from under 9 to 17 and under came from far and wide to compete for championship points and a trophy.
Families travelled from Sydney, Nepean, Hawkesbury, Lithgow, Bathurst, Orange, Blayney, Parkes and Forbes.
We had ten children from Forbes competing.
They were Hugh and Jake Chudleigh, Georgie Coote, Joshua Evans, Breeann Girot, Jamie and Matthew Mitton, Juliet Slack-Smith, Jake Smith and Oscar Worland.
I would like to thank all those people who helped to make the day a success.
