The ladies’ night on Friday, June 12 will be a fundraiser for local girl Danielle Mason, who was last month diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia.
Before her diagnosis, Danielle was studying year 12 at Red Bend Catholic College and was in her second year of a school based traineeship with the ANZ bank.
She is currently in Sydney where she is undergoing treatment.
The fundraiser will be held at St John’s Anglican Church at 7.30pm and all donations will go towards supporting Danielle and her family.
Tickets for the event cost $10 per person and includes dessert, coffee, tea and hot chocolate and entertainment.
Breast cancer survivor Rhonda Brain will talk at the event on her experience of battling and beating the disease.
There will also be a number of small local businesses holding stalls at the church, displaying products for women and a table of cakes and slices which will be able to be purchased on the night.
Organisers of the event still have tables available for businesses to sell their products.
The cost to have a table is $20 and if you are interested, contact Ruth on 0438642113.
Anyone wishing to attend the ladies’ night can turn up on the night, but organisers said it would be appreciated for people to rsvp for catering purposes.
To RSVP contact Ruth on her mobile or by emailing rellegge@hotmail.com or reply to the event’s Facebook page ‘Ladies Dessert and Coffee Night (fundraiser for Danielle Mason)’.
