MAN CHARGED: A 26-year-old man has been charged with affray after an incident in Boronia Place last Thursday. Police used capsicum spray to subdue the man after being called to the location at 12.40am. Police described the man’s behaviour as aggressive and said he was involved in an assault on another male. He resisted police, but was arrested and will face Forbes Local Court.

MOTORBIKE STOLEN: An off-road motorbike has been stolen from a home in Oxford Street. Unknown persons forced entry to a shed in the yard between 8am last Thursday and 8am Saturday (20 June).
The bike is a Yamaha TTR 125, blue and white in colour with No. 8 racing stickers on it.
DOG STOLEN: A dog has been stolen from the backyard of a Coolabah Street residence. The dog is a six-month-old Shar Pei, Jack Russell cross that is brown in colour. Anyone with information is urged to contact Forbes Police.
THEFT FROM HOME: A mobile phone and cash were stolen from a Farnell Street residence between 11pm Thursday and 8am Friday. A front window of the residence was smashed to gain entry.
THEFT FROM UTE: A 40L Engel brand fridge was taken from the back of a ute parked in Templar Street between 11pm last Thursday and 8am Friday (June 19).
MALICIOUS DAMAGE: The rear screen door of a Union Street residence was damaged between 3am and 8am Sunday. No entry to the property was gained. Anyone with information should contact police.
ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN: A resident disturbed a would-be intruder at the rear of their home in Farnell Street early last Wednesday morning. The offender fled the scene.
DRUG DETECTION: A bag containing a small amount of a prohibited drug was found on the floor of a Lachlan Street store at 10.15am last Thursday. The owner of the drug has not been identified.
FAIL TO PAY FOR FUEL: Police are investigating a failure to pay for fuel from a Dowling Street service station. Thirty litres of unleaded fuel was pumped at 11.25am on Saturday and the driver left the scene without paying.
PERSON SEARCHES: Police searched three young people in Farnell Street about 4pm Friday. Police considered the young people’s behaviour suspicious. No prohibited property was found.
LOST: A men’s leather wallet was lost on the Newell Highway in Forbes about midday on Saturday. The finder is urged to take it to Forbes Police.
FOUND: A ladies wristwatch has been found in Victoria Park. The owner can identify and claim it at Forbes Police Station.
A number of wheel rims have been found by the Lachlan River on South Lead Road. They were found last Wednesday.
