The committee has started preparing the grounds, the special guests and exhibits are locked in and ready to go.
So students, cooks, artists, gardeners and farmers - get your entries in!
Bedgerabong PA and H Association Secretary Anne Earney says the grounds are looking good with recent rains and working bees have started.
“We would love to have a good display of flower entries come in, as well as some jams and preserves,” she said.
She’s also hoping for good support of the agricultural sections, including cattle and sheep.
“We have a new section in the sheep this year, the school Merino wether challenge.
Bedgerabong has jumped on the chance to host the challenge as a prelude to the Rabobank National Merino Sheep Show scheduled for the following weekend in Dubbo.
Another category competitors need to get organised for is the fire bucket championships.
Hosting the only fire bucket championships in Australia, Bedgerabong has attracted some very hot competition in the past.
But the field is wide open again this year and the challenge is out there for all bushmen and creatives.
New to Bedgerabong Show in 2015 is the dog high jump and there are competition sections for small, medium and large dogs.
Feature at this year’s show is comic stuntman Epic Darren, whose show is a combination of circus skills and crazy humour.
Inspired by Evel Knievel and Super Dave Osbourne, Darren is on a quest to see his name up in lights with the legends of stunt-ology.
The show involves some hijinks with audience members, the original game of Motor Cross quoits, and Darren’s world famous motorcycle limbo under a flaming limbo bar.
His wife, Balloon Lady Belle, is also coming to Bedgerabong for the day.
Belle is a balloon artist with an amazing ability to create animals and characters from balloons.
She is a favourite with children everywhere they go.
Bedgerabong Show Schedules are available at The Forbes Advocate office - people are asked to make a gold coin donation towards the cost of printing the books.
