Mrs Adams was on a mission this week to cover Bathurst in posters to boost support for Cath ahead of tomorrow’s live performance round.
Businesses all over the CBD, including Top Stuff Hair Care, Eve’s, 2BS and Easy Living Footwear, now feature the bright red posters in their windows.
“We thought we’d start putting out the posters,” Mrs Adams said.
“We’ve still got a way to go – we’ll add the number to them after Sunday and really start handing them out.”
Mrs Adams hopes the local community will get behind Cath with their votes as she is “a Bathurst girl at heart”, despite now living in Eugowra.
“I hope that everyone in Bathurst and the Central West gets behind her,” she said.
“All it takes is one vote.”
Since Cath started in the competition, Mrs Adams has done her best to be there for her performances and will still watch them on TV, even if she already knows the results.
She said that she will always be cheering her on and still get nervous each time she sees her on screen with the microphone in her hand.
But on Sunday, Mrs Adams and other family members will be sitting in the crowd to watch her big live performance.
“We’ll go down on Sunday morning and go to the live performance,” she said.
Could Cath take out the whole competition?
According to Mrs Adams, “absolutely”.
“I’m a bit biased though because I’m her mum,” she said.
Live performances of The Voice will be broadcast on the Nine Network from 7pm on Sunday night.
