All community members are welcome to attend the workshop at 3pm at the Forbes Town Hall.
Mayor Phyllis Miller said the workshop was being held to look at the range of activities that have been held previously as well as create a draft program for the new Forbes Heritage event.
“A number of items will be up for discussion during the workshop and I encourage all who would like to be involved in having their say on how Forbes Heritage should run to attend the workshop,” Cr Miller said.
Items on the agenda for the workshop include the date and theme of Forbes Heritage, the Heritage Art Prize, Forbes Family History Group open day and activities, Forbes and District Historical Society open day and activities, Forbes Medical Centre unveiling of Doctor profiles, any other community organisation activities, bus and cemetery tours, heritage workshop, presentation of Forbes Medal and Volunteer Awards, the committee and the budget.
