The markets will be held at Forbes Town Hall on Saturday 7 November from 9am.
The Forbes Fashion and Homewares Market is proud to be able to host the markets which in the previous two years have raised considerable funds for the Forbes Relay for Life and the Forbes Riding for the Disabled.
“We’re in the final stages of securing the charity for this year and will be announcing it in the coming weeks,” market organiser Emma Gaffney said.
The markets began when a group of locals ladies wanted to rehome some of their much loved fashion items, but raise money for local charity at the same time.
Since then, the markets have evolved to now include homewares and home decor, as well as fashion.
Entry is by gold coin donation with all money raised from the door entry and stallholder fees being donated to the selected charity.
“Stalllholders needn’t be businesses,” Miss Gaffney said.
“We want to encourage individuals, or friends to get together and clean out their wardrobes and have a stall.”
Currently there are a number of stall spaces already booked by people who simply want their favourite pieces to go to a new loving home.
Perhaps you have grown out of them or they simply aren’t your style anymore.
Maybe you have changed your decor and someone’s trash is always someone else’s treasure.
Stallholders with new or preloved fashion, furniture, homewares and home decor are welcome.
Stall spaces will fill fast, so be sure to contact Emma for more information and to book your stall space.
