Bedgerabong’s Country Music Campout is currently in full swing with caravans and campers continuing to roll in for the annual week-long event.
The festival began on Tuesday, October 6 and will continue until Tuesday, October 13 with the main artists to perform this weekend.
There is plenty of entertainment on offer throughout the week with the main stage keeping campers entertained with country music performers from 10am to 5pm each day.
There are walk-up performances every evening, as well as during the days and a poets breakfast each morning.
There is even a sportsperson of the campout competition, as well as a new vogue dance last night and an old time dance on tonight in the Bedgerabong Hall.
Forbes Country Music Club secretary Maureen Solomon said it’s been a good few days so far, despite lower numbers.
“It’s been good, we’ve had some of the best walk-ups we’ve ever had,” she said. “Some people have said they’re nearly good enough to be on the main stage.”
Ms Solomon said on Thursday there were up to 165 caravans but were still expecting more, especially for the weekend.
“We’ve still got caravans coming in,” she said.
