This will be the school’s second annual MADD (Music, Art, Dance and Drama) Night which showcases the talents of students from all areas of the creative arts.
MADD Night will be held this Friday, December 4 at 6pm with doors open at 5.30pm.
Entry is a gold coin donation and all proceeds will be going to Forbes Women’s Refuge.
The original idea of the concert was to be a prelude of sorts to Vanfest with the school planning it for the evening before the music festival.
This year, however, the concert was organised before the additional Friday line-up was announced.
While the event does clash with Vanfest on Friday night, organiser Andrew Swan encourages people to come along to the High School before heading off to see the main acts at Vanfest.
“Students and teachers have all been busy rehearsing in the build up to it,” Mr Swan said.
“This year the support unit will also be joining us for a performance.”
