Captain Mark Stirling yesterday expected to field a strong side for the Lachlan Cricket Council clash.
Opening batsman Jamie Hoswell had confirmed his availability for the game along with brother Jason who is also high on the batting order.
Clayton King, Selwyn Bale, Brad and Jarrod McDean will also travel to Young for the game.
Stirling was hopeful the team would put up a strong contest for Young after a win when they met at the start of the season.
On that occasion Forbes posted a good score and Young made a strong start on chasing it, but Forbes did emerge the victors.
“They were only two down with 16 overs to go but we ended up bowling them all out with about 30 runs to spare,” Stirling said.
“I’m hoping both our batsmen and bowlers come through again this Sunday.”
Depending on the wicket, Stirling hopes Forbes will bat first and spend the afternoon in the field.
