Forbes Handicraft Centre will hold its Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday from 10am to 12 noon with gold coin donation entry.
Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy the morning - and enjoy a terrific morning tea.
The centre hosted its regular market morning last Saturday with a wide selection of home-made preserves, jams, pickles and relishes on offer.
There is also fresh cooking available on the day such as sponges, cupcakes, scones, slices and biscuits.
The group recently held its annual general meeting and Barbara Parslow was re-elected as president.
Mrs Parslow gave an account of the year’s events, such as Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea enabling a generous donation to be made to the Cancer Council, successful market days held monthly allowing for donations to local charities.
She thanked all members for their support and hard work through the year, without their help the centre would not function.
The new committee is: Barbara Parslow president; Laura Plummer vice president; Maree O’Malley returned as secretary; Robin Finn treasurer; Ros Rennick assistant treasurer; Kathy Bray returned as assistant secretary/publicity officer; Barbara Parslow as the public officer.
Standards committee was elected: Food: Marelene Huf, Leonie Parslow, Cath Broderick; Plants: Isabella Gala; Shop quality control: Robin Finn, Jennifer Fabri, Elaine Bright & Laura Plummer; Barbara Parslow was returned as roster secretary.
