National Sorry Day was last Thursday, May 26 but Forbes Dreaming Centre committee will be holding their event this Friday at 10am.
The day will feature a barbecue, dancing, storytelling and singing.
Everyone is welcome.
This week is Reconciliation Week 2016, which is about building better relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for the benefit of all Australians.
Sorry Day is about remembering and commemorating the mistreatment of the country’s indigenous population.
