The PA and H Association is attempting to incorporate digital technology into the running of the show and earlier this year created a website.
Now they are looking at sending out their membership invoices via email rather than post, but to do this they people’s email addresses.
“It’s about bringing the show society into a more technologically-friendly way of doing things,” Forbes PA and H Association publicity officer Lucy Pearce said.
“We’re doing this competition as a way of encouraging people to send their email so we can send out digital memberships/invoices.”
Current and new members are encouraged to send their email to forbesshow@gmail.com by Tuesday, July 5 to be in the running to win a $100 Find It In Forbes gift card.
Once they have submitted their email, PA and H Association secretary Julie Hurkett will send out the invoices via email and people must then pay their membership by August 12.
After this date, memberships will be increased by $5.
Cost of membership for a single adult (with three school-aged children included) is $25, while it’s $35 for two adults and school-aged children.
Memberships must be paid for people to be eligible for the draw.
The competition will then be drawn at the official opening of the show on Friday, September 9.
Membership forms are available on the Forbes Show website - www.forbesshow.com.
The email competition is now open.
The Forbes Show will be on Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10.
