The woman attended Forbes police station on July 19 in relation to the alleged theft of a woman’s purse from a shopping trolley in a local supermarket on June 20.
Police had released images via social media seeking public assistance and information.
ARRESTED: A 31-year-old Forbes man was granted conditional bail to appear before Parkes Local Court on August 15 on a number of charges.
It is alleged that the man accosted a female and threatened her in the Forbes central business district at 10.30am on July 23.
The man was allegedly restrained until the police arrived and arrested him.
He was charged with common assault, intimidation and intimidate police.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear before Parkes Local Court on August 15.
FAIL TO PAY: Police are continuing their inquiries into an alleged fail to pay for approximately $40 of fuel at a Forbes service station about 8.30pm on Friday evening.
RESCUE: A motorist had to be rescued from floodwaters in the wake of a fierce storm that ripped through Cowra on Friday afternoon.
The man attempted to drive through water over Tarrant Gap Road.
He was hospitalised but released from hospital Saturday morning.
