Chris Roylance has taken the president’s role in the Forbes Chamber of Commerce after a successful annual general meeting.

Mr Roylance is the owner and operator of Roylance’s Auto One.
President Stuart Thomas stepped down from the role after three years in the chair and will continue as a member of the committee.
The chamber has a full committee of 10 members, including vice president Marg Duggan; past president Stuart Thomas; treasurer Kimberly Chudleigh and secretary Gabe McMillan.
Ben MacKay, Stevie-Leigh Morrison, Jason Hopkins, Ian Bown and Brett Rout are also on the committee.
Jill-Ann Borger is in the administration role.
The group is working on its two big events for the year, the local business awards and the Christmas festival.
The Boscars sub committee is working hard towards the gala event on October 28.
For the first time in 2016 The Boscars are being aligned with the NSW Business Chamber Business Awards.

A group is currently nutting out ideas, a date and arrangements for this year’s event will be announced soon.
The Chamber hosted a successful quarterly networking night after the well-attended AGM.
Forbes Shire Council grants officer Andrew Rawsthorne made a presentation to the meeting, which was well received.
