While Rocknroll Angel entered Sunday’s feature race at Dubbo Paceway among the favourites, she seemed destined to lose the Nevele R Classic (2120m) as the field approached the winning post.

After doing all the hard work and leading the entire way in the $10,200 three-year-old fillies feature, Rocknroll Angel ($3.70) was swallowed up and passed by heavy favourite Pixies Parlour ($1.70).
But in the final stages, reinswoman Angela Hedges got one last kick out of Rocknroll Angel and fought back on the inside to steal victory from Nathan Turnbull.
Turnbull and Pixies Parlour had earlier started from deep in the field but moved up to sit perfectly in behind the leader for the second half of the race.
Rocknroll Angel is owned by Cameron and Renee Dunn, Bill and Carol Dunn, Adam Bellach (trainer) and Judith Wright.
Trainer Adam Bellach and Hedges have now combined with Rocknroll Angel for four wins from eight career starts while she has only missed out on a placing twice.
While the leading duo dominated the Nevele R Classic and were only separated by a short half-head, Miss Kenny ($6) was more than 9 metres back in third place.
Allnight Mlady was also among the winners at Dubbo. Trained and driven by Bernie Hewitt, Allnight Mlady ($1.50) led from start to finish to take out the Million Dollar Cam @ Yirribee Three-Year-Olds Pace (1720m), following on from her victory at the track on July 17.
The filly scored by 9.8 metres from Lockton Art ($39.20) and Its A Shakedown ($6.30).
