Renowned for hosting quality pacing and racing action, and more recently camel racing, Forbes is about to make a name for itself in lawn mower racing.

The Forbes Show committee are delighted to welcome McClintock Kubota Forbes as the major sponsor of the new lawn mower racing entertainment event on Saturday, September 10.

There are a number of races being run across the course of the day with showgoers encouraged to head over to the Pony Club grounds at the southern side of the showground, to watch the fun and games of Forbes Show’s first lawn mower races!

The Show Mow team from Nowra are conducting the event however the races are also open to local competitors who will need to contact the Show Mow team to sort out membership and other details for insurance coverage, if they would like to take part.

There have already been enquiries from lawn mower racers in Forbes, so the crowd might be able to cheer on local competitors too!
