Netball nights: The Forbes Netball Association will play the last round of night competitions this Wednesday, before the holidays. There will be a two week break then. Two more teams have joined the ladies competition, and have room for more players in each team. Both teams are playing this week. There is also now room for another full team to take up the bye in the ladies competition. Ladies may play in both ladies and mixed competition on the same night. Teams will occasionally be allocated to umpire. Please read carefully through the full draw for team names. When teams are allocated to umpire, they must supply two umpires who stay on the full game. Anyone who would like to play Forbes netball should contact Secretary Lyn Ford email secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com. All players must now be fully registered, before they can take the court. This ensures that when it comes to finals, all players have played at least three games with their team. It also ensures that if any player is injured during their game, they are able to take up the insurance with NNSW, which is part of their registration.

Mixed and Mens Gala Day: This week will be the last round of night competitions before entries close. The Mixed and Mens (M and M) Gala day will be on October 16. Entries close October 10. $50 per team. Games will be round robin from 8.30am. All teams must have an umpire. Help may be available is required. Any Forbes team who would like to play, but need some more players, should leave a message at the office, as there are players who would like to play in a team. Men may play in both the mixed and mens competitions, that will both be run on, one on one off basis. Volunteer umpires may also leave their name at the office this week. All umpires will be paid for the day, by the team they are umpiring. Entires have already been sent through to FNA.

Grades are: A grade (opens), B grade (app under 18 years), C grade (app 13-15 years). These grades will be run in both the mixed and the mens competitions. Enquiries can be answered by any of the FNA committee on Wednesday night.
