Forbes is being warned to expect flooding similar to 1990 levels on Sunday.

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting the river to reach 11.6m at Nanami about midnight Friday with major flooding.

That water is expected to arrive at Forbes Iron Bridge on Sunday with a level of 10.6 metres and 7.1m at Cottons Weir.

Major flooding continues at Jemalong, where the water is rising again. Major flooding is expected to continue through next week.

The Mandatory Creek peaked at 7.8m at Eugowra about midday Thursday – slightly below the minor flood level.

The SES will be door knocking residents expected to be affected.

They also advised on their Facebook page tonight that communities will continue to be isolated, or become isolated, from Forbes: Bedgerebong, Warroo, Jemalong, Corinelle, Wirrinya and West Wyalong.
