The purpose of the event is to provide an evening of fun and laughter to local and extended communities throughout the Shire and surrounds, especially those affected by recent widespread flooding that has inundated the region over the past two months.
Progress Association members are seeking acts to provide entertainment for the concert such as comedy, acting, singing, poetry recitals or anything of a humorous nature, acts should last around 3-5 minutes.
Sponsorship has been provided with more being sought, all sponsorship will be used to provide prizes for the winners of the Talent Quest.
A sausage sizzle will be in operation.
Grenfell Lions Club will provide a Jumping Castle and other children’s entertainment is also currently being sought.
If you enjoy entertainment, as most of us do, as a participator or spectator, along the lines of laughter is the best medicine, then please contact Robert Reeves on 0425 222 622 and come on board and support this great cause for our local flood affected communities.
