Police are conducting investigations into the serious injury of a child at Lithgow last night.

The 11-month-old girl was unconscious when police and paramedics arrived at the home on Landa Street in Lithgow just about 8.50pm on Sunday.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Lithgow Hospital before being airlifted to Westmead Children's Hospital. She is reported to be in a critical condition.
Officers from Chifley Local Area Command attended.
Police were told that the baby was injured when she fell from a cot at the house.
Officers from the Chifley Local Area Command set up a crime scene at the house, and forensic officers examined the scene.
"Detectives are conducting investigations to establish how the girl sustained her injuries and urge anyone with information to contact police," a NSW Police spokeswoman said.
